Hello Hackintosh lovers, welcome to another Hackintosh Guide. New to Hackintosh? Don’t worry, we are here together to learn more about the Hackintosh stuff. If you are planning to build a mid-end Hackintosh, maybe the following build can be used as a reference. The new Intel Core i510400f coupled with ASUS Prime H410M-E motherboard is a good way to start the Hackintosh. When combined with at least 16GB DDR4 RAM, SATA drive and at least AMD Radeon RX 570 series, it runs super smooth.
In this article, I am going to guide you on how to install macOS Big Sur on an Intel Core i5 10400f processor. It is a pretty decent build at a fairly low budget. At the end of this post, you can download the EFI folder for this build based on OpenCore 0.6.5 and try it on your build. This EFI supports up to the latest version of macOS Big Sur. Before you go through, please spend some time to learn how Hackintosh and OpenCore works. Visit the OpenCore Guide and you will find all the things you need to build your Hackintosh PC.
This ASUS Prime H410M-E Hackintosh EFI was built using the following hardware. Please make sure your hardware match this one. Otherwise, the EFI may not work properly. Do not use this EFI on the AMD Ryzen system, it will not work at all!!.
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime H410M-E Socket 1200
- Processor: Intel Core i5 10400f
- VGA: MSI Radeon RX570 8 GB
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM
- 256 GB SSD SATA drive

Download the zip file and then extract and copy the EFI folder to your EFI partition in your USB installer.
Step 3. Configure the BIOS
Before booting the PC with the USB installer, please go to your BIOS and then make sure the following
