Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. Today we are going to install Google Chrome on OpenMandriva 3.0. OpenMandriva is a RPM based Linux distribution that comes with KDE Plasma Desktop. Its a great Linux distribution for desktop. It has Mozilla Firefox as the default web browser. But for me, I prefer to use Google Chrome for browsing.
Steps to Install Google Chrome on OpenMandriva 3.0
Step 1. Download Google Chrome RPM package
Visit this page below to download the Google Chrome RPM package for 64 bit system. Save the file to your download directory.
https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm
Step 2. Install the package
Right click the RPM file you downloaded from the step 1 above and select Open With | Software Installer.
