This tutorial is going to show you how to install Onlyoffice Coomunity Server on Ubuntu 17.04. There are several ways to install Onlyoffice server on Linux. The easiest way is to use Docker. Or we can also install it manually. And this tutorial is going to use the second way to install Onlyoffice Community Server.
System Requirements:
- RAM 6 GB
- Dual Core @2 GHz CPU
- 2 GB space
Steps to install Onlyoffice Community Server on Ubuntu 17.04
Step 1. Update your system
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Step 2. Add GPG key
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys CB2DE8E5
Step 3. Add repository
sudo echo "deb http://download.onlyoffice.com/repo/debian squeeze main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/onlyoffice.list
Step 4. Update and install Community Server
sudo apt update sudo apt install onlyoffice-communityserver
The installation process will take some times. Be patient. During installation you will be asked to create new MySQL root password. Once completed, open web browser and type the Ubuntu IP address to start configuring Onlyoffice.
