How to Install Google Chrome on Fedora 29

Welcome to Fedora Tutorial for Beginners. Today, we are going to show you how to install Google Chrome on Fedora 29. Fedora 29 comes with Mozilla Firefox as the default web browser. But, if you like Google Chrome more than Firefox like I am, you can easily install Google Chrome on Fedora 29. Installing software in Fedora now get even easier. There are many software that can be installed with no command line command typing.

Steps to Install Google Chrome on Fedora 29

First, let’s download the RPM package from this link. Save it to your download directory and you will have a new file: google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm.

Now right-click the RPM file and select Open with Software Install

The Software Install will open up. Click Install button to start the installation. Please note that this Software Install window takes sometimes to open up.

Finally, Google Chrome is ready.
