I have built many Hackintosh systems using AMD Ryzen or Intel processors. So far, everything went pretty well. You can check my posts on this website using the Hackintosh tag. Recently, I purchased the new Radeon RX 6500 XT and I was planning to use it for my Hackintosh build. I used to use the Radeon RX 570 for almost my Hackintosh builds. But, I was very disappointed. This new graphics card does not work with Hackintosh (at least for now).
Even further, this graphic card performance is very poor. Compared to my old Radeon RX 570 8 GB series, this RX 6500 XT 4 GB performance is pretty much the same, or even worse. I hope in the future I can use this RX 6500 XT for my Hackintosh build.
When I swapped my RX 570 with RX 6500 XT from my Hackintosh machine, the system still boot and work properly. but it does not have the graphic accelerator enabled. And the graphic card is not recognized by macOS. So the performance is very poor, slow, etc.
