Personally, I use several backup software to back up my system and data. But recently, I decided to switch to Acronis True Image 2020. There are some reasons why I finally pick this backup solution and I will explain later in this post. Do you actually need a backup? Some of you may think that your computer and data will be fine and no bad thing could happen to your computer. Well, at least that’s was my thought.
Recently, I have to deal with my backup software because I want to upgrade my SSD drive. Before, I use AOMEI Backupper to handle all my system backup, disk cloning, etc. I was having some great days with this software. But, in my last case, AOMEI Backupper failed to satisfy me. I tried to restore my operating system to a new larger SSD drive but it was failed. Many times.
The backup and restore process went smoothly but my Windows 10 was unable to boot. I’ve lost a few hours just fo figure it out.
Finally, I start over and I used the new Acronis True Image 2020. The backup and restore process was way faster and now my computer is up and running without any issue. From this event, I fall in love with Acronis True Image 2020. It saved my day.
This is not a paid review but I just want to share my experiences while using this backup software. It is great, simple and very easy to use. You can back up the entire disk, partitions or folders. Acronis True Image 2020 full version will cost you about $50 but for me, it is a fair price compared to the features you get.
It also comes with some nice and useful tools such as system cleaner, clone disk, Acronis Secure Zone where you can allocate your disk space as an encrypted space.
You may download the trial version and try it yourself before deciding to purchase the full version. You can get your free copy here.
