Rockstor, is a CentOS based distribution designed for NAS system. It has all features you need to build a powerful network attached storage with some cool features in one system. Rockstor comes with a nice Web UI for administration tasks. All server management can be done via the web UI.
Rockstor supports various services such as Active Directory, Samba, SFTP, NFS, SNMP, AFP and many more. Unfortunately, Rockstor lacks iSCSI service.
Rockstor is very easy to install and configure. The graphical installer was so simple so anyone can install Rockstor in no time. It supports disk pool, RAID 0, 1, 10, 5 and RAID 6. It also support for snapshot, pool resize on the fly and many more.
