I am a big fan of Oracle Virtualbox. In the last few years, I have been using VirtualBox to try many new Linux distributions and some other purposes. The new version of Oracle VirtualBox 6.0.2 is now available for download. I was testing it on my Windows 10 host. The very first impression about this release is the performance.
I notice and feel the performance difference if I compared to any previous version. I barely run Windows 10 Professional guest on top of Windows 10 host. In the previous version, I feel that the response of the guest machine is quite laggy and slow. But after doing an upgrade today, I fee that my guest machine response speed is significantly increasing. Well this not clearly mentioned in the official Oracle VirtualBox 6.0 Changelog but thanks to this great improvements. I am very happy now.
I also tested the Oracle VirtualBox 6.0.2 on Ubuntu 18.10 which is officially supported.
User Interface Refresh
The Oracle VirtualBox 6.0.2 features a refreshed user interface. The new icons are pretty cool. We can easily switch between Details, Snapshot and Log easily.
