Datamine Tutorial – Create New Project

Hello everyone, today I will start writing about Datamine, a popular exploration and mining software. And now I will start with how to create a new project on Datamine. I am using Datamine Studio EM 2.1.170.

Purpose of the Project Wizard

There are three main functions of the Project Wizard, with each function being assigned a tab, to be completed in a specific order:

• to set up general project properties such as name and location etc.
• to add or remove files from the project database (or references to external files)
• to display a project summary and create the project database.

To create new project, follow these steps

From Start window, click New Project. The new project wizard also available from ribbon menu.
